João Paulo Pereira · Psychologist, consultant and trainer

The starting point: psychology

I graduated in Social and Organisational Psychology from ISPA in 1991. That same year, I began working as a psychologist and trainer — two strands that remain part of my work today.

Learning, researching and sharing

My academic path led me to a master's degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology at the University of Coimbra in 1999, and to a PhD in Psychiatry and Medical Psychology from the Universities of Salamanca and Porto in 2007.

Since 1996, university teaching and research have been part of this journey. Alongside teaching, I have mentored students and supervised academic work, from undergraduate to doctoral level.

From the person to the organisation

Over more than 30 years, I have combined clinical practice, consulting and training leadership in Portugal, Spain and Angola. I am co-author of the PPJM, the Profile Management System and the PITCH'U methodology.

Other ways of talking

I also share reflections through articles in general and specialist media, as well as on my LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook profiles.
